I have been provided with a strong foundation in Carnatic music in this class. The ambience provided for learning such art allows us, students , to be able to grasp well and we have been guided with utmost dedication. The attention my guru provides endures that I not only learn the kala, but also understand and respect it . Even during the lockdown period our guru took the pain and conducted classes through Skype ensuring that we continue to learn in this free period. Recorded messages were also sent to us to keep us updated and in touch with our basics. We were also to send recordings of our practice and were given feedback for the same. It is been 4 years, we are associated with Samskrithi Kala Kendram. My daughter loves dancing Bharatanatyam to such an extent, she often does role play as a dance teacher. The school provides enough opportunity for kids to make stage performance. My daughter got 10 stage performances in the 4 years, all credits to Mrs. Kamala Subramanian who moulded her for dance. The school also make kids learn ethics and moral values. I definitely recommend Samskrithi Kala Kendram.
The dedication and sincerity of people in samskrithi Kala Kendra(SKK) is highly appreciable. SKK creates valuable opportunity for kids to perform at high level even though the kids are at the starting of their musical career. Let me first thank you for the wonderful experience the kids are having with online classes and we also know this way of imparting arts classes has its own difficulties as they are not just going through the theory class where u need to copy and write down the Notes.
Kamala Ma'am has taken grt efforts by sending videos and inviting virtual classes for the kids.
Even though kids miss the personal touch with their guru she makes them comfortable.
